Clinical Trial – The Progeria Research Foundation, http://www.progeriaresearch.org/ , is soliciting funds to support human clinical trials of a potential drug, which is a farnesyl transferase inhibitor. In mice and human tissue culture these inhibitors have been able to reverse many of the traits of this disease. It is fortunate that few have this lethal disease, less than one hundred children, but the same defect may be a cause of aging in all of us but at a slower rate.
